inspired by a 19th Century work , i have recreated this masterpiece with my choices of colors /tones/and composition (to some extent)
I have learned some good touches and skill in the process .

Balance

Balance :
 3'X2' oil on canvas .
Very satisfying work . It has great meaning to me , i use a lot of symbolism, for example everything looks slipping down except the candle stand which seems to hold things in balance .
The colors and arrangement and whole composition turns out better than i expected .
The photograph of the painting  though is not good enough as my camera need some servicing .so iPhone did the job

In Making

A practice painting in making after a long time .

I broke the big mirror in my living room for plywood board behind ,priemered it and painting now .

Remake of a 19th centuray classic ,colors of sky like butter ,a very typical English country side dinner time scene.
Grandma is slicing bacon ,
